He had said he doesn't mind playing either position. He's got to know there aren't many 250-260lb running backs in college and NFL. There ARE however many college and pro middle linebackers that are 250-260lb.

I think he'll end up playing LB, and maybe on short yardage play RB!

His college playing weight may be more like 235-240, no matter where he plays.
I cannot imagine it at 255-260.

Why not? He carries that weight very well already. If he's running fine then no reason for him to lose weight.

You do realize that video is a year old, don't you? From the late spring'15 onward, Devin said he wanted to play RB in college, not LB.

You do realize that in real life his want and LSU's need tend to change starting on signing day and continue to do so until he wants to see the field.

fatigue for 1

2 there is some bad weight there. It will naturally drop when he gets in LSUs workout and eating program

3 a 230 man is still very very large. If you think he is fast for 260lbs, imagine trying to tackle a 230lb man that is that much faster and nimble. Good luck. You're getting into Fournette territory now.

same can be applied to LB. No use in him being 260lb when he is still big if he losses 25 lbs. It will be that much easier for him to get to ball carriers

Devin White would be a stud on either side of the ball.
