I don't get it. You sound simple minded to be honest w you.
Not that it actually is relevant like you think but OP says nothing about LSU only.

simple statement by OP:
I say name ONE. This is clearly about LSU (see reference to "these" boards). Not UCLA or ANY other school. Why in the world would we be concerned about some other school moving one of their players from O to D???
talk about simple minded...

These boards doesn't mean LSU specific general term, just cause we haven't doesn't mean we shouldn't. What's wrong w you?

WOW... just WOW
answer the question simpleton... why would we be concerned about another team moving a player from O to D??? it really is NOT that complicated.

Because it was a success
He was a and still could be a top 10 pick
LB is a position of need and much more impactful in the Sec
And I didn't even read anything you freaking posted, saw thread clicked reply end of story

Corey Webster and Jack Hunt both moved from WR to def and both started on national champion(and super bowl) teams

white is going to be a monster at MLB... wouldn't surprise me at all if he plays a bunch this season and takes beckwiths spot in 2017.

Not true.
But he did say he was open to the idea of playing some LB.
It's true, they just didn't tell him. Let him do both. It's not that hard to run a toss dive. He would not be in there on pass plays anyway.
Of course he was all world rb, not many hs kids can tackle a guy that big with speed.
A lb with that size and speed goes top 5 each yr in draft.

and you're also completely missing the point and not reading the complete statements.
OP says:

I say... name ONE recent example of discussion of moving a stellar offensive LSU player to LB.
Neither Webster or Hunt moved to LB and NEITHER are "recent" (which I would at least consider the Miles-era being that he has been here for over 11 years now).

Your point is stupid.
That's like me saying saying in 2013, name one recent RB at LSU that was able to contend for the Heisman!!
Yea, there are none, therefore LF will never contend for the Heisman.
a RB moving to LB is not that obscure. on top of that, LSU has had many kids move positions during the Miles era and be successful players, some even playing in the NFL.

WOW... what planet are you guys on??? what does anything you say have to do with this inaccurate statement from the OP:
OP statement:
DUMB... I have literally seen ZERO chatter about moving any RECENT dynamic offensive player at LSU to LB SPECIFICALLY.
I'm done. OP has his down votes and we can all agree on that it was a poor post.

Williams is not as versatile or nimble as Ridley.
and Devin White reminds me of Jeremy Hill in more ways than one.
But we need him at LB.

In White's case it would be a tremendous waste of his talent. A RB like him doesn't come along often. A LB like him is average.
It is pretty much the opposite.
Do you not think that more talented players wind up at RB than LB? From the lowest levels of football, the best players are usually RBs (or running QBs); does it not stand to reason that many of these players simply remain at that position, which would make it more rare for a player of that caliber to wind up playing exclusively on the other side of the ball? Why do you think year after year there is a rookie RB from some nowhere school making a name for himself in the NFL? Because they refused to move to the other side of the ball, and went to a school that allowed him to do so.

If that's the case... Don't you think that "Baw" would qualify in the same tense?
