Look how many names appear on the 2-Deep from that #1 ranked 2009 signing class -

I think I counted like 18.

Joking, this should be Baker lol

I am judging the fact that Williford should start due to all the hype everyone has given him since summer. He has been very consistant but Blackwell has sucked it up from what I have been told and what I can see on film

Buddy Songy is upset right now because his depth chart released two weeks ago differs.

for everyone saying RR is starting at Y...y is actually the letter for the tight end

Um, no its not. Y is a letter for the WR. TE is TE. Not x, not y and not z.

RR is the Y.

x,y,z refer to wide receiver positions. from weak side to strong side.

so:
x lineman(sometimes a te) y z.
qb

I'd be surprised if RR isn't set out wide in the Z, with Shep playing the Y in three wide sets.

And when they're in only two wide sets the TE becomes the Y; thus some of the confusion about D-Lo's position.

Chicken should think about making people pass a test to post here. It's a game depth chart. Why the frick would a guy who is injured be listed on the GAME TIME depth chart? For the love of frick, think before you post people.

Then this place would be all business and no fun.

Seriously, tell me you wouldn't miss classics like this one presented to me the other day by an indignant poster:

Just how the frick does a 100-85 record mean a .540 winning percentage?

Looks good. This could be a really exciting year and different than any we've had since 02/03.

In the board's opinion, has Murphy or Ridley proven themselves to be a game-changing tailback?
Tailback is the only position I'm really worried about, as far as player selection. Maybe Ford isn't a game-changer either, but I just hope Miles doesn't stick to his two known quantities if they aren't getting it done.

I think there are a couple of glitches in this chart. On the Songy show, his assistant that he sent to the press conf said Miles said Eugene would start at safety.

And I'm pretty sure RR is starting.

And I'm also pretty sure DP is not starting at both wideout and TE in the same 11.

Guys...

This is the press release for the UNC game (a travel squad), meaning the little packet they give to the announcers so they know who the players are. Notice the pronunciation guide along the right hand side.

The injured players are not listed. No Baker. No Tolliver. No Hatcher. I am surprised Josh Downs is on it. Nobody mentioned that, but this is great news.
