I'm surprised Simon is a CB and Vinson is a S. I didn't really think Vinson would stay at CB but Simon being CB is ridiculous. He must have amazing hips/agility for someone with that height to stay there.

Tharold Simon might be the biggest corner we've ever had. 6'3 190 right now with room to grow.

yeah Tory James is the only guy I can think of around that height (6'2). hopefully he can be like Tory, or Bobby Taylor from ND back in the day.

Sooo, is that saying either Loston or Reid will start...or either Reid or Eugene is the backup?

It's saying Loston or Eugene to start... Compare it to the FB designation. The second FB listed is redshirting this year.

Yes, Davenport, Logan and Copeland are all freshman DT's that are on the team. In addition, Ferguson is another freshman listed at DL that could play outside or inside. We have lots of young depth...

Overall, yes, but there is nice JR and SR leadership at almost every position.

OL--SR Barksdale(3-year-starter/4-year letterman)

QB--JR Jefferson

RB--SR Murphy and JR Ridley

WR--SR Tolliver

TE--JR Peterson

DL--SR Nevis

LB--SR Shep

CB--JR Peterson

S--JR Taylor

So again, a lot of youth everywhere, but all positions have JRs or SRs they can look to. I think it might be a nice balance.

I read it as Loston or Reid starting and Eugene the #3 guy. If you compare it to the RB which show Murphy or Ridley with Ford as #3...

Couldn't find this anywhere. Can you post a link? There are too many questions that need to be settled like where is RR.

I know one thing, Blackwell has looked like shite in his drills.

They're only drills but I hope that doesn't translate to the field...

I don't necessarily disagree, but what are you basing your opinion on exactly?
