Interesting. In my opinion bower is entrenched as "the guy" this year. The coaches really like Bain out there though, I think they will start w Neal then Bain will eventually split reps and possibly take over.

Staff seems to favor Clark over Teheuma. So 4 deep of bower, Neal, Bain, Clark. With teheuma and later key rotating in is my prediction.

Coach O likes Washington. Wouldn't be surprised to see him play a lot too.

He's our secret weapon of the class.

Bower will be one of the starters IMO.

Nah, that would be Donte Jackson, but that's a whole other discussion. But yes, Key will be very good based on what I've seen and heard.

Donte isn't really a secret
Not many people gave Washington the attention he deserved

Don't count out Clark. I think Clark Bower and Key may be our 3 best DEs at the end of the season

I think may be Bower is best bet to start. because he could at least 4 and up to 6 will be the rotation against every team.

Just looking at your Avi, you can't really want Golson, right?

Les said after the spring game that if Lewis Neal would have played, he would have been 1st team with Bain 2nd team.

But in regards to the OP, a lot of it will depends on the situation, opponent, and what D we will be running. Because Steele runs both the 4-3 and 3-4. Bain is much better suited for a 3-4 DE and Godchaux could move outside in the 3-4 as well, while other guys like Teuhema, Key, etc. would be OLBs in that D.

Bower and Newl are the favorites, but I think we see a heavy rotation at DE. Mainly because the only 1 guy that saw significant snaps last year was Bower. A lot of unknowns and question marks, so we will probably give a lot of guys a chance, especially early on.

And I really like Isaiah Washington as well. Very underrated prospect who could def get some PT. He's very big and long and has a college body already. And is an extremely hard worker and a great young man. I think he will def surprise some people this fall.

Sorry, but we have some knuckleheads in here. Either this is your first year watching LSU, or you just never learn.
