Hield is good this year. Look at his other years. Coming into the season he was a career mid 30's 3-point shooter, now he's shooting 52%.

Yes, but there is still lots of basletball to be played. JJ Redick was twice the player Hield was in college

He gets overlooked a lot, but Patterson is a very savvy defender. I'm not saying he can shut Heild down, but he wouldn't be the worst guy to run out there.

One of the best aspects of LSU's team is that they are athletic enough to switch with just about every significant contributor except Victor. They have to communicate this game or it won't matter who is guarding Hield, OU will eat them alive in the half court

Yeah we have a lot of guys we can throw at Hield. And pretty much all of them will get a crack at him IMO.

I thought we did an excellent job of switching and rotating consistently for 40 minutes against Kentucky. Have not really seen us do it as consistently in any other games, though we have in stretches. We'll have to do it that way against OU Saturday because they are a very good offensive team.

Try to get Hield to put it on the floor, he's been prone to turnovers at times. And we need to bring our A game offensively.

Should be a great atmosphere. Geaux Tigers!!

Yep, he is the forgotten man here. He leads the guards in steals/game and takes fewer risks than Gray and Quarterman. While he doesn't have the size of Q, Keith, and AB, he is a pesky defender on the perimeter. His minutes will be crucial to allow the other guys to get a rest from guarding Heild.

I just can't imagine him being anymore effective than Moody was from Ole Miss
