Who were you expecting? Vin Scully? Jack Buck? These guys were selected to call a series of a nationally unpopular sport that was broadcast STRICTLY on the internet. I doubt ESPN really wanted to open-up the checkbook on top-notch commentators for this event. If it bothered you so much, turn the volume off. Easy solution.

Thought they were fine.
Maddox has a style that is a bit old school. He calls a mans game, which it's probably why the frat boys here don't get him.

We could have had an announcer that didnt compare every player to a random Major League player from 20 years ago and actually analyzed what was going on. Pretty sure that wouldnt have been super expensive.
