Harris definitely has a stronger arm, that's never even been a question. But his accuracy is very scary. He will make a beautiful throw then follow it up and miss the target by 5 yards. I think the sky is the limit with the kid, but I think he is just so raw right now. I hope we don't need him yet because the accuracy issue will result in many many INT's. His arm will also result in some amazing plays, but we know Les doesn't like guys who turn the ball over.

Just going off of the spring game, and the bowl game, Harris wasn't and hasn't been the one turning the ball over...

My guess is the first drive against Wisconsin will be similar to the first drive against Iowa. About a 20 play drive with 19 runs and 1 QB sneak.

Velocity, zip, spin ... et all those adjectives are fine. How will you perform on a Saturday night, down three, in the fourth quarter, under two minutes to go? The only way to see who is better in those situation is to try to simulate it in practice but the best measure will be found in games

All that being said, Harris has all the features you look for in a modern day QB... including the charisma

I don't know why this post got so many downvotes but I agree completely.

Going off the one part of over a month of Spring practice that anyone can see and a bowl game where Harris was still in high school, which happened to be Jennings' first career start on a wet field against a good defense? Great sample size.

jennings looked pretty terrible the last two times we've publically seen him.

is that not a fair statement? I think it's what has most fans spooked... his decision making in the spring game, after all the 1st team reps in december-march...

Sure. But the "last two times we've publicly seen him" is not even a drop in the bucket compared to the work and reps both of them have been putting in behind closed doors. It's ridiculous to try and draw any major assumptions from someone's first career start (on a wet field against a good D, etc.) or from a damn Spring game.

I agree that he was in a tough situation in the bowl game. The problem is that the high-schooler showed better decision making and composure in the spring game, and you can't blame that on a good defense, or a wet field, or being thrown into the fire for a bowl game.

with the OL we have, and the "risk" at the QB position (thinking turnovers) and somewhat of a question mark on DL.... I'm ok with that. This year, or at least to start the year.

He looked better in this ONE solitary scrimmage. One scrimmage. Nothing more, nothing less.

Richard Murphy would be in the HOF if spring games mattered.

And Matt Mauck wouldn't have sniffed the field.

I can see you're trying to make this into some kind of Harris v. Jennings supporter pissing match (as if there are two camps). Just letting you know I'll have none of that.

I'm not in either camp. The best will play.

I just think Harris is a better qb from watching both. Just an opinion. We'll see what Cameron does.
