I would like to get opinions on Ducre getting any PT at tailback. He was used in the spring I think we red shirted him this year. He will be a bull with the ball in his hands. I think he will be special one day as a Tailback. I have only seen the High school and spring footage, but he looks very quick and strong for a shorter back

I know LF and DG will be all the talk. Tackling Ducre late in games after those two have been running won't be fun.

Is he very fast? He seems very quick. Looks very strong.

I wondered why he didn't get reps at FB when JDM was injured.

love him. wished he had redshirted but he actually played and caught a pass in the bowl game as a fullback. I see him being a slightly faster kenny hilliard type of back.

We don't NEED him there. We have much better talent at the position that him. He has limited upside. The other guys we have at tailback are WAY WAY WAY better. He needs to stay at FB or transitioned to LB to see the field at LSU. Know your role and limitations.

He was a RB during the spring because we only had 2 scholarship RBs on the team at that time.

The problem is that he is behind Fournette, Guice, Williams and Brossette at TB and behind Moore and Mouton at FB. Even if no younger players pass him, he is already behind players in his own class at each position. I am sure he will get playing time, but he will have to jump some guys if he is ever going to get significant snaps.

He will get pt, if not this year then next. Plus if he really just wants to play, show out on kick coverage.

Really want to see him play. Have said this many times, but he reminds me of Nick Chubb. I mean they say fullback, but this kid has speed!

He was the 206 rated recruit in the composite and was a top 190 recruit on 247.

Stop this nonsense. Big, strong, fast with great hands.

Ducre ran a 10.69 in track Fournette ran a 10.68. He clocked a 4.42 hand time at LSU which is realistically in the 4.5s and for a guy that is 5'11 and pushing 240, that's crazy athletic.

I do however think Devin White should play LB because we have a guy similar to him in Ducre at RB.

He'll jump all but Fournette and Guice in due time. The cream rises to the top. Hill jumped Ware, Ford, Hilliard midseason, and they moved Magee to WR in 2012. They switched Magee back to RB in 2013 and he jumped Blue and Hilliard after not even getting on the field the prior two years, to averaging 7.3 ypc and 8 TDs as a backup to Hill.
