It's great to have an enthusiastic, young tactician. It also sounds like he is a players coach that they respect. Perfect fit for this team.

Dave Aranda will be the next head coach at LSU.

Or the other word for that: reality. Dave Aranda and his defense ain't making BH a better decision maker any time soon.

Reality is Bama averaged 19 yds a game more in passing, 1 pt. more a game, and 14 yds less a game in total O than LSU. That was with a Sr. QB as opposed to Tr. So.

Perhaps our O and QB is not this dumpster fire some like to pretend.

watching that wiscy/usc game should be mandatory for anyone who doesn't know a thing about aranda.

pressure came from everywhere, especially the linebackers and they, for the most part anyway, limited an offense with a good amount of future NFL talent on it.

“blow up the launchpad”

I have yet to hear an interview with MD that he didn't talk about this. Its like he gets paid $100 every time he says it.

I agree 100%. He can be horrible inaccurate at times. Constantly overthrows medium range passes. He also has a problem with 'timing' plays. If he takes well to coaching, I'm sure they will spend an off season working on this

The narrative must change about LSU and quarterbacks and that starts with us. I heard a lot of talking heads saying essentially what we said on this board. LSU has had very good QBs under CLM and we can again.

if he's that great, we'd better enjoy him the couple of years he'll be here.

Correct

If he can improve on his accuracy he will be very good

Then to me, and probably many many others, that means they are waaaay below average in big games.

Couple your fact with 3 losses to SECW opponents by +20 points consecutively. To be at that average means we did way above average against average competition, well below against our division.

Also not reality, if accuracy is your goal here.

Somehow, I don't think that starts with a message board.

Wow... a negativity bias is reality? It may be man's default setting, but that can be overcome bro.

I have been waiting to watch a wisky game replay since the hire.

The best aspect of the LSU football team is when the defense is swarming and it makes for exciting football.

This has probably been the best hire in the Miles era since Pelini. We used to have a streak for injuring opposing qb's at one point with our defense was legit a few years back.
Steele was never going to give us that.

For some reason, this hire just renewed faith in the future with Les Miles. I think my dislike for Miles this year was because of the Steele hire. I really think we have a shot to be elite in 2016.

Let's Geaux...2016 has already started off with a bang.

The emergence of message boards has been both a blessing and a curse for sports teams and LSU in particular. Many of the prospective recruits have looked at this board along with Twitter and Instagram. Our messages matter.

If the game slows down a bit for Harris next year thanks to a year of starting experience and more film study, he has an opportunity to get a lot better. He is not a lost cause, by any stretch.

Exactly.....keeping him has more upside than keeping miles.
