Wish him well. He was a force to be reckoned with against the run.

I has a disappoint. With our DTs maturing and Valentine coming in to the mix, i think he would have had a monster year next year from the push they will generate.

we just cant seem to get timing down.

probably not

There aren't many top DE/NFL OLBs staying for next year. His measurables and a decent sack number (6-7) would have vaulted him to the first round.

This years draft is loaded with great DE's that all have the athleticism as well as the production. Next year's is expected to be thinner but you never know. I don't know his families situation, so who am I to say it's a bad decision? Added to the fact that his DC shot out and noone else has taken the mantle, it's understandable he is unsure if another year actually helps him. Best of luck Danielle!

Well, thank you to Mr. Hunter for being a Tiger and wearing the purple and gold.

He'll probably have a great combine. He has the length and speed to be a good 3-4 OLB.

Bad news for us but good luck to the young man.

No. He was unproductive for the most part.

Good luck Danielle! You accomplished what you came here to do, and I can't fault you for that.

not surprised.

He pretty much said it last week.

I still can't help but believe that if we had a DC who could sit down with him and provide some insight on what type of scheme we would be running and how staying one more year might raise his draft prospects, he might stay for another season.

He would have to have a monstrous year next year to go in the first round.

No he wouldn't have. His measurables along with a decent sack number would make him a 1st round pick. Also, the DE/NFL 3/4 OLB pool is a lot smaller going into next year.

One thing to consider is that the new DC might employ a bigger DE like we saw before Chavis. The Hill and Spears type. If that's the case, we might see some guys slide out during the offseason.

You can't say anything about next year's draft pool. Nobody knows what it will be like

Good luck to Mr. Hunter. He was on the ALL-TIME LSU looks awesome getting off the bus team. What a physical specimen. He will blow the combine up.

assuming he gets a decent sack number is a big assumption. with the way nfl contracts work now, it doesn't really matter where you are drafted as much as it use to
