Bad news for us but good luck to the young man.

Yeah, his "denial" was that he hadn't talked to the media about it.

Would have improved his stock but can understand if he wants to earn his way in to NFl

I think he'd do well in a 3-4

He would have been a 1rst round pick next year. Being in college and improve to get a lucrative contract is a much better choice because he is still in the open market instead of being limited to one team and competing with pros to get a better contract.

We have Bower, Neal, Clark, Teuhema, and MJ Patterson. None of them are proven. Most of them were a part of the rotation last year, but it still is an area of concern. The bright side is you probably have more of a pass rush next year, but probably worse off against the run.

He would have to have a monstrous year next year to go in the first round. Go look at the mock drafts for this year and at the DEs that are going and watch their production rate. Significantly higher than that of Hunter. Can he do it? Of course.
Hunter's best bet is to show off at the combine to raise his stock there.
Good luck to the kid.
We went from thinking we were going to keep a lot because of Collins.. And now they're all jumping ship before it goes down. But that's none of my business.
