You said this team wasn't impressive and that we can't throw the ball. Some people are just dumb.

you would be the one to get nothing out of those numbers. sheesh

But you can't just gloss over the point he made just to think your point is better. What he stated was the eventual conclusion. What you stated is a partial truth and not the end result.

20 carries 158 yds. 7.8 ypc. 2 and a half quarters. That's not impressive? I think Dandy Don is spoiled. This isn't Madden football.

He never made a point.

He struggled most of the day to find yards. That's a fact whether you want to be a homer or not.

After further review it did not appear either of those DBs really wanted to tackle him, they didn't even dive at him ..

"Outside of his long run, he averaged 3.7 yards on his other 19 carries." THIS
I agree with another poster that Moore has been instrumental in some of LF's earlier big runs. I will be glad when he gets back.

I think this is what Scott was referring to.
Fournette is a.... I don't have the words!

3.7 yards per carry... yes true but that was 3.7 yards per carry after contact for the most part!

The most impressive thing I saw was after LF was pulled from the game I wanted to see him in because he could have had another 200 yard game. During this time repeatedly LF was shown on the sideline encouraging his team mates and genuinely not itching to get in to set a multi 200 yard game record.

If I were him I think I would have been standing next to the coach hoping to get back in to break another record.

LF knows he is a beast. But he is humble and he also knows that DW and Guice are beast as well and deserve some carries and recognition.

100% class act! That is very impressive to me.

This.... if you can get 3-4 yards against a stacked box consistently.... YOU ARE DOING GREAT.

Some people don't understand that usually 8 or 9 in the box equals no gain or negative yardage.

Both Fournette and our O-line deserve credit here. It allows us to continue to run, gain first downs, and grind them into talcum powder by the late 3rd quarter.... or sooner.

Not really. He struggled for one drive of 3 carries for negative 5 yards. The rest of the day was all pretty positive as there were at least 3 plays of three or less yards that all resulted in first downs. The box score was pretty deceptive in this game.

I thought he looked a bit tentative early in the game. It's hard to be "on" all the time.

That's how it works with a back like him ....The first half the opponent is full a adrenaline stopping LF for 3-4 yard gains with 9 people in the box..after 15-20 carries they get a little tired the rush is over then BOOM 87 yards, their will is broken....from then on its 7-8 yard gains which Guice took full advantage of

No kidding. Watch that play again. #7 for SC has a 6-yard headstart and can't stay within two yards of him. Unreal.

Bottom line: The team is better when JD Moore is healthy. So, get well soon and
