You are a terrible troll, BUT I do agree that we need to play a OOC road series before the start of the SEC. We did play in MMP against quality competition.
That being said, this team won the SEC regular season title. Scheduling had nothing to do with any of this.

I want to play a better non-conference schedule, but once we get into SEC play, we won't play many good teams out of conference, maybe outside of UL on a good year. Teams from Texas, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, play better mid week competition than we do. Just the way ti works out, we don't have a good major conference team outside of LSU in this state.

most of the fans melting are fans who probably haven't been to any games at the box this year, and have just started watching baseball in the post season. The best fans are made of the people who travel to Los Angels to watch baseball, and almost out number the host team in fans, who are at the box night in night out. The rant is not an accurate representation of our baseball fans.

You play....to win...the game.
Winning the first game is vital and even the guys in the booth mentioned how important winning game 1 is.
The decision to not throw Lange was a huge miscalculation no matter how you cut it.
Yeah, Poche "threw" the game away with his errors, but again, Lange pitching makes things different.
Now, for the meager offense, I have no answers except to say that pitching Lange was even more important here since our offense has been struggling.
PM just doesn't have the killer extinct like a Bertman.
PM is just not a good strategist at all and this team became unglued like no other team I've seen since, well, another PM coached team at a CWS.
