Dean made it known publically that he wanted to give DiNardo another year. Dean and Hanigriff were the only 2 assclowns in town who thought so.

I think it was Joe Bugar, not Mike Bugar.

Curly was hired only because of Brett Farve and the funny thing was he didn't recruit him or coach him until his Jr. year.
Joe Dean wanted to save LSU money on the coaching hire with both Hallman and DiNardo.
He saved LSU 500k a year with both hires, so over 9 seasons thats 4.5 million; but the lose in season ticket holders, TV money, Bowl money, merchandise cost LSU much more money than the 4.5 million.
Jim Carmody is one of the persons I wanted LSU to look at when we fired Archer, its Jim that recruited the very good Southern Miss teams of Hallman's years.
But when Archer was fired LSU should have gone after the big names in college football and paid top dollar, cheap never works in football.
