He didnt "get" his shot. He earned it through sticking through all these years. Just like he earned staying on the field by his play on it.
Mettenberger has not earned anything except 11 passes against NSU and excitement for next year.

Some of you guys can't read... didn't say I wanted it to happen. You can bet on this though, there will be a couple of games where we have to throw it. I'm pulling for JL to get it done.

I think so, maybe I don't know I don't have crystal ball.
But how it goes is pretty easy. If Lee is hurt mett takes over. If lee stuggles mett takes over. If mett does well he stays the starter.

I would hate to see it happen, but I seem to remember JL getting 'nicked up' quite a few times when he takes those statue of liberty sacks.
Pretty sure we'll see Mett play meaningful snaps for this reason.

Deserving to start because you're a Senior is the dumbest statement I have ever read on here. Lee is the starter by default not by productivity. Coaches saw him for 4 years as well and decided to start JJ

Well saying Mett deserves to start because of 11 passes against NSU is a dumber statement

Sounds like an exciting win on the road to me. Winning on the road in the SEC is always a big win. I would be pre-cardiac arrest during the game and knocking back a Chimay Red afterwards. Might even splurge on a cigar.
