Vandy got saved by that rain delay. Eshelman was absolutely dealing last night.

Could Lange only pitch say 70-80 pitches and come back?

Do we pitch Lange or try and roll the dice with Johnny Wholestaff?

We should save Lange just in case

This would be best case scenario, kind of like TCU did with their starter. Get up big and pull Lange around the 7th.

Beat the hell out of CSF and hope for a 20 inning game between TCU and Vandy.

True Dat! Really doesn't matter who we pitch, if our offense doesn't come out of the deep freeze, we are catching the 7 o'clock flight back to Baton Rouge.

CSF is toast without their ace. Such a waste to pitch Lange here

Interesting thought. If you in it to win it I wouldn't object to saving him Win or lose. If CPM asks me I'll tell him it OK.......

The first final would be 5 days after tomorrow..he could be ready for the 2nd final game on 6 days rest easily.

Dude imagine the meltdown if we went 2 and Q without throwing our best pitcher.

That would be like playing a championship game without putting in your best quarterback. Nobody would be that stupid.

Of course we still pitch Lange. Yes.

It's just a shame we have to pitch our best weapon vs CSF. They got here because of their ace, and just look done.

Was hoping Vandy would lose so we could bounce them with Lange and eliminate that threat. Then we would get CSF on Wednesday with Bain.

They scored 3 on Fulmer who is at this point a better pitcher than Lange. They can get to Lange and beat us rather easily. They also beat Louisville who has a pretty good pitching staff.
