His measurables are not going to be an issue. His injury history and overaggressiveness will.

I'll take a guy that's over aggressive over a guy being a pussy any day. Guy had a solid career at LSU, very proud of him.

agree, good for a safety that will be used mostly in run support. One thing that will hurt him is he never was not injured. Every year he missed pt due to injury.

He obviously needs more coaching to play the safety position deep - if he were just a little taller, he might do better than he will end up doing, draft position-wise.

He definitely ran better than expected (and many prospects focus on the run for prep) - his film is good - he plays bigger than 5'11" (maybe not 217, but, again, ran well with that tonnage).

However, the injury bug question, and, now his height, along with questions about his coverage ability will limit him to a niche - a true strong safety spot. 3rd round would be the highest possible upside for Poppa, I think - 4th or 5th more likely.

Anyone who doesn't run a sub 4.4 and isn't 6'4 with 30 bench reps is considered a massive disappointment on the rant and our strength and conditioning program is in decline. Fire Mofitt. He's not doing a good enough job at making people shave time off their 40s or being better combine warriors. Cuz you know, strength and conditioning actually has control on how naturally fast someone is.

Those 40 times are not even that bad for S if they're official.

He'll make a roster based on special teams coverage.

for some perspective on his 40 time. Out of the 20 safeties at the combine, Loston had the 15th fastest 40 time. The slowest safety time for the 40 this year was 4.71

( a really good and most complete site for combine results that I have found is
steelersdepot2014nflcombineresults, type that in a search. It organizes all results for easy comparisons)

Listed at 6'2" 193 in Highschool. Crazy how he could have shrunk that much since then... Maybe low bone density? LINK

That's a silly comparison - we all want aggressive guys playing for us.

But Loston's overaggressive play too often meant he wasn't playing fundamentally sound football. He was always looking for the big hit, rather than properly playing the ball, taking the correct angle, or wrapping up the ball carrier properly.

So yea, over-aggressive play is sometimes worse than smart, fundamental play.

There's no way he's only 5'11. I don't think he's 6'2 either, but he has to be somewhere between 6'0 and 6'1

How many times do people need to say he's not 5'11". He's basically 6'1".
