How come Alabama doesn't ever need any "blessings in disguise" to force them to make changes?

Because they are committed to winning and details. They aren't just playing the role, they are the real deal.

LSU is just playing dress up. Don't believe it? Watch LSU vs. Alabama.

I'd rather lose now and figure out that Jennings isn't the answer then go 0-3 in November and realize then Jennings sucks.

And no, I don't mean because it might get Les fired. After listening to Miles' comments after the game I honestly thought he looked more disgruntled than I've ever seen him after a loss. I hope that he saw last night's game the same way I saw it- the end of any SEC championship hopes we had this year. Some of you will say that's an overreaction but you'd be more than optimistic to think that this young team can take the west this year. Maybe, just MAYBE, getting embarrassed so early in the season will convince miles to take some risks that he's been reluctant to try. For example, starting Harris even if he is not quite as comfortable as Jennings yet, or spreading the offense out and implementing a new approach even if it means we struggle to adjust for a few games. I feel like we have nothing to lose now, and that may be just what we need. Flame on

I agree with this in theory. But, we are talking about the most hardheaded coach I can ever recall.

Uh, Saban has overhauled his entire defense in response to being beaten by JFF. They've cut weight and increased speed across the board. He has also encouraged no-huddle after being beaten by and watching Gus.
Yeah, and then they rebound and win championships. Miles won't make any big changes unless he is forced into it by injuries.

Can't argue with that rock solid logic. Bama is the defending NC. I just hope Malveto and Studrawa can get this thing turned around.

LSU will be an extremely blessed team this year.

Absolutely it could be...I love the 2012 Florida game reference I read earlier today

Now, i don't know how in the hell Les is going to address our pass rush. We haven't had a good pass rush in three seasons. Haley has outwelcomed his stay. State fans and Chicago fans didn't even like him

we dont need Miles to take any risks

we need him to take his headset off.....and just stand there.....and do nothing....for 3 straight hours

was the loss to a bad ole miss team last year a blessing?

was getting our shite pushed in late in the game (OL quitting) last year against bama a blessing?

was almost losing to a terrible ark team last year a growing experience?

was the Tenn game a few years back with the clock blunder a blessing? or the Ole miss game prior to that?

unfortunately, no college football game, on TV at least, lasts even close to 3 hours (I wish though)

O is ready and able to take over DL next season. It could happen.

Here's a scenario that's certainly not outside the realm of possibility: Michigan continues to implode and Hoke gets the ax. Michigan goes after Les with big $$$$$$$$$. Les takes the job. He takes Chavis and Haley with him to Ann Arbor. Cam Cameron gets the LSU job and finally gets a chance to run his offense unimpeded. He retains the rest of the LSU staff and hires Orgeron to coach DL in addition to the recently fired Will Muschamp to be DC.

Les is going to do the same things that he has always done. This coach has won a lot of games. He is entitled to run his ship the way he wants it. His job is secure period. If the stadium is half empty in four weeks then let Joe and the BOS do something about it.

This year is not our year despite the perceived top recruiting classes. Les shite the bed last night. He is not getting fired.

Take your Xanax and Prozac and accept this situation. Or mane start looking forward to college basketball.
