Breaking news
Miles has announced Schembechler will call plays against Wisconsin due to his familiarity with Wisconsin during his coaching career.

Miles has already informed his QB's who the starter will be.

now that I'm not so sure of... I think he really won't let either one know till thursday who's going to take the first snap at QB.

word will leak thursday/friday morning though i'm sure.

I have A thought. How about that it doesn't matter who the starter is.

This has been my assertion... It doesn't really matter. Cam Cameron is our "QB" this year.

Whoever ends up playing more this year or being officially named the starter really doesn't matter....we're going to be a run-heavy team that tries to eliminate the possibility of either young QB fricking us up too bad.

I do not think it matters this year as either way we are going to slowly break them both in and then next year be more reliant on the QB as both will a little more mature and aware of what is expected of them.

You...you get out of here with all of your sensible and rational thoughts and reasoning. They will clearly not be welcomed here.....

Its gonna be throwback Thursday...we getting number 9 back.

the money I would pay to see the reaction.

I mean shite, we don't even have a QB and we got people picking a favorite, most have never seen Harris play and are all about him. Unless he starts of course!!!

we're only going off of what he looked like in the spring game and what other professionals like george whitfield have said about him.

he made some great plays in the spring game (practice) and jennings threw 2 pick sixes, and another pick 6 in the bowl game (but the player stupidly dropped the ball on the 1 yard line)

Jennings is going to get the first snap, barring injury between now and then.

Jennings will get the first snap. Who knows how/if they plan to rotate.

I love how anyone who says harris will/should start is a moron, and yet those same people calling others out "because Miles is gonna do what he's gonna do", and say "are you the coach? no." THEN MAKE THE CLAIM THAT JENNINGS WILL START

Harris is gonna start. Im sorry if you bought a jennings jersey already.

I think jennings most likely gets the nod at starter but has a short leash. rewatching that iowa game today brought back memories of how bad he was... and a lot of the bad decisions he made had zero to do with the field conditions.

if he's planning on splitting time then i could see them doing this, but other than that, you want your starter going in confident and dfinitely with more than two days to prepare mentally.

He was making those same mistakes in the Spring game too.

I agree with most of this. As far as the "starter" for the first game, I don't really care. It seems pretty obvious that both will play.

While I understand where you're coming from, I disagree with your statement that "Cam Cameron will be the QB this year." He and the staff can do their best to make things easier on an inexperienced QB, but if LSU wants to win, whoever is a QB is going to have to make plays. It's the most important position on the field and you just can't hide your QB. There are going to be mistakes, but you also have to be willing to let your guy go out and win the game

Slow your roll. I hope Harris starts because he has significantly more upside. That said, history suggests Miles will give Jennings the first snap. To think otherwise would be to predict contrary to history.
