Left Tackle with great size and quickness. The way he played on Saturday was incredible. What would keep him from getting picked #1 or at the very least in the top 5?

We need to enjoy him now. He is incredible.

REVISION: I should have said "Top 5." Completely forgot about Clowney for some reason. He will be #1 no matter what.

So, Top 5?

If Tyson Jackson went #3, then Collins can go top 5.

It's possible but Clowney or Bridgewater look to have that top spot locked down

Yeah. Clowney. Forgot about that.

I'd say there's a chance, but a slim one.

I see the Raiders taking JFF as their #1 pick. They both deserve each other.

Depends on team needs. But I would say top 15 for sure. After next year.

1st OT sure

1st pick, not likely

He will have to combat the Bama hype all season though (Cyrus K. - who didnt look good against VT).

what does jacksonville or oakland need more?

A franchise Left Tackle or Defensive End

Jacksonville just drafted the kid from Oregon that plays OLB/DE

Oakland picked the DB from houston with the Vascular Condition.

I have no clue, but if La'el stays strong, healthy and dominant... We could have another Tiger as a future top ten pick on our hands.

I don't get why people say clowney is top pick no matter what. I think there's a very good chance he is but I think a qb could definitely he the top pick also.

To answer the op, I think you're being a little too optimistic buddy

If what we saw Saturday projects to the rest of the season we are seeing a top 5 pick for sure.

yes but he played one game and you're seriously asking if he could be the number one pick. That's ridiculous. First Round would be a more realistic question

This. Who knows, really. He COULD be, yes. It's a long season. Clowney's stock could slip if scouts question his work effort, he could sustain an injury, a team whose most pressing need is LT could have the first pick...too many variables at this point.

If all goes well and he finishes the season playing the way he played this weekend, he will be a top 10 pick IMHO.
