Successful in terms of possibly getting back to the tournament? He obviously played a very refined role on this year’s team (defense/rebounding/put backs) but it stands to reason he’ll have a much greater role next year. I like his length and ability to finish at the rim. He develops a little more outside the paint without losing any grit and we may have a key piece to next season’s potential success

His free throw shooting was a disappointment, 68% over 2 seasons at GTown plummeted in half to 34% this season.

Interesting fact: LeBlanc is 7-11 from 3 point range in his career (all at Gtown)

Dude has the potential to be the DPOY in the SEC. Did you see some of his snatch blocks and rebounds? He has quick active hands that led to a ton of steals and he did it all in limited minutes. I’m excited for his and Mwani Wilkinson’s defensive potential.

Throw Cook and Gaines in there too. If these guys buy in and get some help from the coaches they could be very good defensively.

He’s just not very good, if LSU is reliant on him, that is not a good sign.

Many fans think the Cupboard is bare, but even if Wade doesn't sign anyone else, I think this team is still a Tournament Bound Team.

I don’t think we’ll rely on him per se, but he could be kind of like what Days was to this year’s team in terms of the guy who tips the scales of either being at our best or not

He has hands of stone, doesnt prevent him from being active and playing good d, but it keeps him from being able to be any kind of offensive threat.

I wouldn't go so far as to call him the potential key to success. But I do think he COULD play a much more important role next season. He's not a guy who generates offense on his own. So what LSU did this year doesn't play to his strengths offensively. He also played on a team that was once again largely disinterested or at least discombobulated on the defensive end. IF next year's group relies more on ball movement for offense and really, ACTUALLY, not just lip service, is committed to getting much, much better defensively, the Leblanc could be a big contributor. But if Wade choses to play the same style as this year...only with different players...I don't see him having a much greater role than he had this year.

His shooting touch was just abysmal this year. He needs to bust his arse this off-season working on that.

Maybe x-factor is a better term

In other words he’s definitely looking at a bigger role. Can’t get over the 7-11 from 3

Will gladly take that

I like LeBlanc. He will have to play with a little more control because if not he will foul out by half.

I would expect him to be the primary screener and get some easy buckets on dives and lobs. And his off ball cuts to the bucket will be more fruitful with guys like Cook and Gaines handling the ball.

Hopefully he works on his free throw shooting over the offseason. It seemed to me that it got in his head by the end of the season- I saw him miss a number of point blank shots I know he can finish. Not uncommon for that to happen when you’re worried about avoiding contact so you don’t go to the foul line.

Leblanc will definitely be a big piece next year.
He's that guy all teams need, who does the dirty work.
He does need to improve finishing at times and learn to avoid silly fouls.

With Fudge and Colbert coming in, along with Wilkinson and O'Neal (provided he gets healthy) we should be in decent shape around the goal. We will still struggle with Huge C's, unless Gray improves alot.

I think the biggest ? next year will be scorers.
I'm excited about next years team, it will be a completely different type of team.
As many have stated, I wish Days comes back as I think the way next years team will line up would allow him to showcase himself much more than the ISO ball we had this year.

Yeah! He has no touch, even around the basket. He is a gifted athlete, strange that he has limited coordination when shooting. Hope he works on it, 1000 tip ins over the off season.
Positive: He did hit both his free throws vs Michigan.

This is the key thing that LeBlanc has got to fix in the offseason. He struggled to finish around the rim and bad hands made it harder to post him up on the block and deliver him the ball.

LeBlanc needs to develop a baby hook or a short jumper, and he needs to improve that hand-eye coordination. It might be a good idea for him to get his eyes checked - remember the difference that LASIK made for Dwayne Bowe, for example.

But the physical ability is there. He's long, he's strong and he's cat-quick for a guy his size. Put some skill to go with that and he can up his contribution big-time.

he needs a ton of improvement offensively. He has the athleticism. He is clearly uncomfortable with the ball in his hands. Same for Wilkenson
