The rant has officially jumped the shark. It's almost unreadable.

Saints should trade Brees and draft Etling.

I don't even know if he likes Jimmy John's. But anything is possible.

Are you aware of just how fricking good Drew Brees is? I'd say asking if he can be as good as Matt Flynn at this juncture is more appropriate.

Why? Brees wasn't always the great player he is now. Matter of fact he was awful in 2003.

Brees had been with the Chargers for three seasons, and his third had been his worst. He had thrown more interceptions, 15, than touchdown passes, 11, and his passer rating, 67.5, was the lowest of his career. His struggles were reflected in the standings, where San Diego finished tied for last in the AFC West at 4-12.

Could he become a future all-time top 10-15 NFL quarterback? I'd probably put my money on no.

Yes I think he can be one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time after watching 1 3/4's of a game. Goat no doubt.

Well hell, in that case, I guess it's just as probable that Brandon Harris will turn into Drew Brees as well.

Yes, especially since Harris has shown the same touch & ability to read defenses presnap as Etling has so far which are two of Brees' greatest assets.

Not to mention the similarities of both Brees & Etling developing under Cam Cameron.

This thread is even bad for the rant.

This is just goes to show how underrated Brees really is these days.

If the Saints front office wasn't so shitty drafting players and developing a defense Brees would be more at the forefront of people's minds in the debate as the GOAT QB.
