Sticking around LSU for the spring semester and missing spring practice wherever he is going is not logical or smart.

Why? He is going to redshirt no matter where he goes. I don't think it matters.

He is redshirting. He will have an entire year to get adjusted/learn the playbook at his new school.

Redshirt rules allow participation in team activities, while prohibiting playing in games.

Maybe he didn't have a school picked out in time to transfer in for the semester.

I am hearing Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, La Tech, Notre Dame, Penn St, Oregon, Arizona, Arizona State, and Duke to name a few.

According to his Dad, ND is still in play at this point.

I wish he would consider Colorado. Colorado throws the ball around, they always have a GREAT white receiver (going back two decades) without all the "great white hope bs" stupid fans throw at you here, and Boulder is a great place to live. Head west young man. Go buffs.

Hope he lands at one of those schools.
ND & Duke degrees alone are worth pursuing

Ok here is the offensive case for Colorado:
In 2015 17 receivers caught passes. Nelson Spruce caught 89. Five other receivers caught over 25. None of those guys were over three star players in HS. McIntyre runs a balanced offense. They have good young QB talent. It's all there. Plus:

Did he ever actually say he was transfering to another school? All I ever heard him say was that he was leaving LSU.

Houston seems to be the consensus

Looking hard at Houston, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, ND
Duke, Oregon, Oklahoma, La Tech also in play.
