It's quite the beautiful view driving over the Horace Wilkinson Bridge. I can't wait.

I hope it's grey to match the north side and not white

Since you mentioned video boards, I'm guessing that this is the support structure for one of them:
Anybody know the dimensions of the new boards? Safe to assume that approximately half of that will be for advertising!

That's an extra field goal

When people say arches.. do mean where the light is coming from in this picture?
If so.. Then there were never any arches on the south endzone side anyways so why would it matter that the new construction is covering up that side?
Unless you consider these ugly arse beams to be arches as well??
I am confused..

are you serious with this? nothing on the outside matches anything else. north side is dark gray. the west side is brown fake brick with brown bars over the windows. the east side is regular concrete color. the gates are all tan. and there are probably 4 different kinds of bricks in the sidewalks outside.

The tards are saying that they do not see where the new arches will be on the expansion. As if there's not going to be any like there's suppose to.

No shite, I just think it would look a tad better since the south side looks similar to the north side that they'd be the same color. The west side looks like shite. You'd be fine with it mismatching every other section of the stadium?

That's what Cameron Gamble will aim for on his kickoffs.

how would matching the north and south make it look any better? either way you aren't going to match the section right next to it.

Looks like absolute garbage (however I do like the All American Sections with the LSU). Who approved of those tan pillars with dominos on the top? They make it way harder than they need to

So the new one should be white in your opinion?
I mean it's somewhat based off the north side, so why wouldn't you make it the same color? There's absolutely no matching the west side, but making two sides look the same would be a hell of a lot better than having three sections look nothing alike.

The only time I think it looks good is at night when every accent light it on & that is usually only during football season

What are you talking about white?
And there are 4 sides to the stadium. There's a good chance at least 3 sides will not match however you do it.

I feel like there has to be a way to get some good engineers and designers together to alter the west side facade so that it carries the consistent arch theme around between north and south. I'm positive there is someone who can figure this out
Posted on 3/12/14 at 1:44 pm to Dr. Shultz
Yeah I'm as big a fan of the arches as anyone, but when it comes to this expansion, I'm thrilled that they are covering this:
In some ways you could say that building the SEZ was the first step in abandoning the arched look. And that was in what, 1953?

If a facade could be applied to the east and west uppers, that would be great. Do we make it to look the NEZ or the SEZ though?
