Connecting Flight in Orlando

For those of you flying Southwest into Chicago with a connecting flight in Orlando, you can change your flight to connect in another city due to the storm without any extra cost.

This is the opposite of what they told us today. They said we can change days/time, but not cities.

Southwest is still offering waivers for flights to/from/through there, though. Even if it doesn't "hit" Orlando, flights will be impacted by the storm.
Better to take advantage of the situation and fly through DAL, BNA, HOU, BWI, etc.

We changed our flight so that our connecting flight is in St.Louis. There was availabilities as of about 4:30 today.

Out of MSY, there is nothing for more than two people that doesn't go through Orlando until late tomorrow evening. Other days and other departure airports may have different availability.

Good post OP. I'm usually on top of this but had a fantasy draft this evening... I updated the thread on the travel board if anyone needs specific help to Milwaukee or Chicago. Looks like there's two seats left on the 7:15am nonstop MSY- Chicago Midway and at least 8 seats on the 10:05am MSY-Washington DC - Chicago
