RPI is just for fun at this point. We're behind a 2-9 team.

How is this even possible? Obviously it doesn't matter right now, but those RPI rankings make absolutely no sense.

TCU is pretty solid..2 CWS appearances in last 5 years and have a good chance again this year.

Shouldnt be challenged much this year in the big 12.

good to see USC relevant again.

The top 4 this week should be pretty cut and dry.

6-20 had some movement this week.

Kennesaw State isnt as good as last year or we could have 3 Owls in the top 25.

I mean the year is still young.
Let it play out.

I'm surprised aTm hasn't jumped LSU after "winning" the Houston Classic

They're 15-1 and just beat 3 top ten teams this weekend. I know the cliches: it's early, polls don't matter anyway, they'll move up eventually if they're not a pretender, etc. But still. They're a top 10 team IMO. And anything outside the top 15 at this point just seems laughable.

It's 30% over. Ranking USC #23 at this point is pretty dumb.

frick the "its early" excuse. They have beaten a lot of big time teams/programs to get to that 15-1 mark.

Yes. Their RPI is so bad because of playing teams like Southern at home. We need to avoid playing bad out of conference teams whenever possible.

rankings dont mean shite.

They will adjust as teams move into conference play and see how consistent the teams are during that time.

Before this week they hadn't really played anyone. But they made a statement this weekend for sure.

They beat UK (down) and CSF. Their only loss is to UCSB who is doing pretty good this year.

They can make some hay this year. They get UCLA, Stanford and Oregon at home plus their trips get returned from UCSB and CSF.
