and i've already said that this is evidence that i believe that MSU is not as good of a hitting team as people want to give them credit for, much like LSU....so there's that
so who can hit then?

Chasing Omaha top 25 - LSU #3 (up from 4)

All these polls are worthless. We can't hit, we shouldn't be ranked.

All the poll voters meet for Javi's annual Chili Cookoff in July. I hear it's a pretty big deal and clouds their judgment.

Kentucky's batting average is exactly one point higher than LSUs.

What!?! Missing Geurilla Ball Still?

Our hitting sucks so bad we are gonna score less than 0 against Stephen F Austin tomorrow. It's gonna be hard to watch...

Don't encourage Rouge, people!
I wonder if Rouge is my older brother, who is the most pessimistic fan in the world. When I ask him about his pessimism, he says if he doesn't get his hopes up, he can't be let down. Only problem is that although the lows aren't as low, the highs aren't near as high either.
Besides, we're only 11 games into the season. The only real assessment can come after 3 SEC weekENDS. Chill out, Rouge!

that, and they keep spelling baseball with an eff oh oh tee because they really don't know the difference no matter how many years/games they watch

No I'm not. I don't freak out over the small things. I don't jump off a cliff early in the season. What I can do is look at the last 2 years and say that I don't agree with the hitting philosophy at LSU. I have heard Javi in interviews and I disagree with some of his approach to hitting. I also disagree with sac bunting 3 times in the FIRST FIVE innings following the leadoff batter reaching base.

fact is that we are having a rougher time than i would have expected scoring runs against the starting pitching of these programs that i don't think will be considered very good once the season is over.
Which if you are really good at predicting things, should still happen about 50% of the time. That statement is pointless without any frame of reference to whatever you personally expected in January.

we are beating up on thin bullpens, where a substantial decrease in talent is often observed
Yeah, and the first 11 games don't mean much, so don't sweat it. Just be happy that there is a significant improvement in lineup depth from last season to this season--that much is already apparent. We'll know more once conference play begins, but right now the offensive numbers look very good relative to what the team was like last season.

we will need have a lot more timely hitting for our current success to continue into SEC play.
Good God, you're one of those people.
There's probably no hope trying to reason with you then.
