Excellent news. Our middle infield is intact.
I'm guessing this is the first time in awhile we'll have the same middle infielders in back to back seasons. I'll have to go back and see.

Poche would be icing on the cake. Pumped freeman and robertson will anchor the middle.

If Poche comes back my expectations for the 2017 season will be entirely unrealistic.

And dont forget Deichmann making the right choice to come back too. Although not 100% he will stay at 1B with an open outfield spot. Really depends I guess on guys like Ducote/Adams if they stick around as well as the incoming guys.

If this was just announced, you have to think this answers the Mainieri question. Don't think Freeman is announcing this with an unknown as the coach.
