He probably won't get more than three outs tonight. don't see him being in line for the win.

You think we're going to score runs in the first inning.

That's a fact CPM does play favorites and that's why three are transferring and Foster and Moore are opting for the draft. If Foster gets picked the very last pick and has to pay $25 out of his own pocket he's gone!! Playing favorites is like a cancer for the team.

Sorry but Foster had his opportunity to start at the beginning of the season and did nothing with it.

CPM pretty tuff coach, plays favorites a lot, not same coach to all players, from what I have heard from a couple of ex-players parents..

I've heard the same thing from a current player's parents.

I bet you could say the same for 95% of coaches too.

But he favors one certain player more than others.

I understand but I don't buy into all that being some huge problem and distraction. No one cares about that stuff and it never gets mentioned when you are winning.

I mean you don't think stuff like this happened last year too? The same threads come out whenever a team is struggling. Doom and gloom, program is in decline, etc.

My point is just because it's happening doesn't mean everything is getting ready to fall apart at the seams.

Whether CPM's played favorites or not, every player on this roster has been given more than one solid chance to break into the lineup full time. Foster & Moore in particular, Moore more than anyone. And it's not just what we see in games; CPM has made it obvious that a player's practices play a large role in his getting a chance in a game. Take out all the knocks on Bregman, and who has been rated a "favorite" and given more opportunities because of it? All this BS reminds me of all the BS following the NCG debacle. Locker room fights, white players favoring white QB's, etc.

Is Foster and his .124 batting average really complaining about playing time?

I have been to perhaps 15 games and rarely miss one on tv or radio.
I really started getting into LSU baseball three years ago when one of my kids enrolled.

I like CPM. Regardless of what he said about Glenn this week remember he kept the trouble Glenn got into last year very quiet. No details leaked. I don't know what Cody's problems have been this year but he just hasn't played well at all this year. I hope he doesn't have off field habits that caused this.

I think Cartwright, Buggs, Persons will all contend as starters next year and will be good pitchers.

I think if Bouman and Poche pitch well the rest of the season we will do very well in the post season. Better than most expect. We need 6 innings out of those guys every start in the tournaments.

Bergman is a very good ball player. Perhaps, despite his lower average this year, the best infielder in the conference. My only complaint with Bergman is his base running--sometimes he is too aggressive.
