Please help me see the light, it ain't football ... lack of QB will be weak link yet again as we carry on this tradition of 12 years now of not begin able to recurit, then develop top notch QB's.

LSU finished 4th out of 14 SEC teams and 2 of the 3 ahead of them made the playoffs.
That is hardly mid level.

It is my understanding that Coach O's contract has a lower salary but a real nice buyout. He agreed to the lower salary so that good salaries can be used to attract and keep good coordinators.

Like he had a lot of bargaining power...
Our decision makers were unbelievably stupid to agree to a 12-million dollar buyout. I believe it goes down 3 million after the 1st of the year or something like that each year. These ridiculous buyouts for coaches who get fired (when they're getting paid millions already) have got to go. If you don't do a good job, you shouldn't get rewarded millions for not working.

LSU also has higher paid OC and DC. This all works together. Just keep in Mind we had to move on from the Clown show that was Les Miles before we can move forward. Judge coach O by what Lsu does on the field over the next couple years, not by the mess of a roster he was given in his 1st year.
