Maybe we should give him a raise so we will get better results?

Why not prepare a cost/ win ratio for this year and then next year and that would be a better barometer than just your subjective opinion.

As all decent quarterbacks used to shutter at the mere mention of LSU and Les Miles, and avoid us like the plague.

Yet, both Lowell Narcisse and Myles Brennan both originally committed to LSU while Miles was still the head coach.

Your love fest for o has gotten old fast space clownboy.

are you saying O is underpaid?

maybe you are saying that if we give him a raise we'll win more games?

last question......are you a fan of LSU? or some plant sowing seeds of discontent.

At what time or win level, do you hear O asking for pay increase? You know his ego will start getting pissed that he makes half of other coaches in SEC

If you got paid for what you know you would owe money.

HC's get contracts that reflect what their market value is. Their market value is based on what they have accomplished and the demand for their services.

Coach O has a poor record of accomplishments as a HC and no one was demanding his services as HC. The fact that we are paying him $3.5 million is amazing...he is overpaid as of now, imo.

If O gets LSU to ATL in the next three seasons, he'll get appropriate raises.

These ridiculous buyouts for coaches who get fired (when they're getting paid millions already) have got to go. If you don't do a good job, you shouldn't get rewarded millions for not working.

Well they're not going anywhere so get used to it. It would just be nice if our fans realized it was the price of doing business today. Mark Stoops at Kentucky has a 14 million buyout, Saban at 27 million. Fisher at 75 million ( ), Malzahn is up there, butch had around a 10 million that was paid, Beilema just got paid 12, and Mcelwain 8.5 (negotiated down from 12.5).

He is like the 11th highest paid coach in the conference....

You had an entire post about market values of coaches but it's like you don't even know what the market is right now.

troy was beating lsu 31-3 in the 4th quarter in 08, that's embarrassing in itself. but troy decided to keep throwing, if they run the ball they win
