I really like what I hear from Coach Grimes. I'm really looking forward to this still relatively young offensive line work under his tutelage. He is very impressive to listen to in this clip from Nola.com LINK

I think there is about a 50/50 chance we don't know the starting line just yet. Miles has made the comment in several pressers recently that they weren't sure the best 5 are out there yet. Vadal was promised a shot at tackle, but in reality, Pocic may be a better fit. Teuhama is supposedly turning some heads as well.

after last year, esp the start of it, the jury is out with me on Grimes. however, the year ended much better and I think we'll be real good there.

without question our recruiting at OL pretty much was mediocre under Stud. losing Robinson to Bama (and the one to Auburn earlier) finally alerted Miles to the recruiting incompetence of Stud.

Miles is too loyal to his assistants. Chavis should have been on probation after 2013 and his recruiting disasters. Haley should have been canned too.

Not saying the "jury shouldn't still be out," but line struggling with a new coach breaking in a new system is nothing to worry about. Especially when they show improvement over the course of a season. I certainly expect them to be a solid unit, with maybe a few personnel tweaks early on.

How did we get him to LSU? Did Miles coach with him somewhere? I think he's doing a great job both on and off the field seems like a guy that has a very bright future.
