ED ORGERON: It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. I got here, man, you know? I'm a defensive lineman. I wasn't always the first one to get the date, you know what I'm saying? I had to work at it, you know what I mean?

quote:

ED ORGERON: Just the way it was. You got to compete. I think things happen for a reason. I think they all happen for a reason. Two years ago we're going to play at Texas A&M, we don't know what's going to happen. Two years ago we got to Texas A&M Jimbo Fisher was getting the job. That was Wednesday night. Then Thursday night Tom Herman was getting the job. Then Saturday Ed Orgeron got it. So anything can happen, you just got to keep on competing. I'm glad I'm here, I thank God for this job, I think everything happens for a reason. I can see why they wanted Jimbo Fisher, he's an excellent coach. I can see why they wanted Tom Herman, he's an excellent coach. I understand that.

Foster Moreau aligns the reporters‘ phones in the wing T before speaking.

Why does the offense blow chunks? Is it the players or the coaching?

Why? O just needs a solid OC hire to make a good run at a title this offseason. All he really needs.

He’s bringing in great talent with an elite D, just have solid offensive production and LSU is probably a playoff team.

Wow never thought I would hear the “everything happens for a reason” cliche from O. I am Disappointed I gotta say.

On Aranda...
quote:

Dave's going to be a great head coach whenever he chooses to be a head coach,

I found this interesting because it doesn't fit with the NFL path.

Hang around Dave!

So sycophant Ree, who will be the new OC? If he rolls with Emzinger next year, look for Mr. Ed to be a real short-timer....

So instead of linking meaningful quotes relative to the game you quote O defending his hiring.

Just because stuff happens for a reason doesn’t mean it’s a good reason, Ed

While it is clear that I am not an idiot, you on the other hand are a sycophant. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. Have you disclosed your official relationship with LSU football?

Ask Ed why ten games into his second season his offense ranks # 88 after playing two of the worse defenses in college football.

WTF??? You can't make a joke that is more idiotic than you. "While it is clear I'm no idiot, Are you going to keep the Secretary of Defense and renovate the White House?"

Yeah, you are an absolute idiot.

He said it feels great to be the #7 team in the nation. Also says feels good to know that if LSU wins Saturday they will be the 2nd or 3rd best team in the toughest conference in the nation. He couldn't stop smiling and then walked away to yell at Aranda.

You're right Ed. He is. As soon as you march out Ensminger again next year. Maybe he'll let you stay on as recruiting coordinator.
