I heard some of the questions at the end, but not the beginning.

Players were talking shite all week and couldn't back it up in the game.

You can tell in O's voice that Thursday is his last game at the helm for LSU.

Did O actually hint that Guice screwed up the last play? It looked to me like Guice went the right way.

I thought so at first too. But since I have looked at stills and video. Our OL cut all of the defensive line and backers to the ground if Guice goes outside he has one DB to beat. He would have scored IMO.

I've watched it several times also. It looks to me like 44 going left was a decoy and Guice was going right from the get-go (UF ran that exact play and failed earlier on 3rd and short). Our DE's crashed around both ends. Guice started right and saw the DE crashing around. Seeing this he hesitates, then goes straight ahead. Both crashing DE's grab his legs and No 93 stands up in his face preventing reaching over. Had he swept left he might have made it, but I don't think that was the call.

Etling double-clutched the exchange. He clearly didn't expect Guice to be where he was. Whether or not that is on Guice is only known inside the program, but if O hinted at the back going the wrong way, I'd say that probably tells us all we need to know.

You could see it in his face on the failed 4th and 1 that it was over.
