This is my Clemson offensive breakdown video, again mostly just to get familiar with names, numbers, positions, etc. Also some Clemson offensive stats at the end.

A few things that stood out to me:

-Their OL, while incredibly good and very experienced, has no one guy that stands out to me like you would see on a Bama or Georgia OL. I have to wonder if our supreme athletes can just out athletic them. For example, their LT Jackson Carman did not allow a sack over their first 13 games, but if they match him up 1 on 1 with Chaisson I like our chances.

-They're just 47th in the country in the redzone. LSU is #1. If we score TD's, and they have to settle for a few field goals, LSU could win big.

With Divinity coming back AFTER the defense really started to catch it's groove, I think he's the X factor. Even if he's just disruptive up front. The more pressure on TL the better.

Higgins and Ross are very freaking good and have great size, they will be a challenge for Fulton and Stingley. Etienne may be the best back we have faced this year along with N Harris. Dude is so fast and smooth and hard to bring down, its a shame he's not wearing an LSU jersey. If Clemson doesn't steal him from Louisiana they aren't even in this game.

Clemsons offense is the reason I'm not nearly as confident as I was against OU. I think we handle their defense just fine, but that offense can make anyone look silly. We have to play our best defensively in this one.

Yep same here. I think we can put up high 30s - 40s on them no problem but can we keep them from doing the same to us?

With Divinity coming back
This is Divinity's swan song for our beloved Tigers.

I am expecting him to play out of his mind. This is what he waited his entire career for. This is the biggest stage possible, the biggest stakes, the pinnacle of his College career.

I'm not hoping he will show up and be a force... I'm fully expecting him to be an absolute nightmare for the Clemson offense.

Divinity had his issues, whatever they may have been. And now that's in the past and he has this last opportunity to show his quality.

I'm loving the buildup to this game.

I’m really curious how much Divinity plays. I don’t think he’s just going to step into the same role he had before the suspension. There’s just really nobody to take off the field for him, in my opinion .

Carmen just held Chase Young in check. 0 sacks. I think he had maybe 1 hurry. Our Oline is under appreciated in my opinion.

You’re not looking into red zone stats enough. It’s a silly stat in my opinion as it counts TDs and FGs as equals.

It does point out that our kicker is not good which is a fact. The times we haven’t scored in red zone have been missed kicks

Dave Aranda has never given up 40 points in a 4 quarter game before so if we get 40 it’s a pretty safe bet we win the game.

I actually thought Young got the better of Jackson quite often. He wore him out in the 3rd quarter. On one particular drive Young had a clear lane to Lawrence on 3 consecutive snaps because he beat Jackson. I would also say Jackson was directly responsible for the first two sacks for Clemson, the first one he just got beat and the second one Young beat Jackson which forced Lawrence to move up in the pocket to his right which resulted in a sack.

I thought Anchrum was considerably better against Young. The thing that was interesting to me is you hear all this stuff about OSU lining Young up anywhere, but in this game it was pretty straight forward. 1st and 3rd he was over the LT, 2nd and 4th he was over the RT.

This is actually scoring at all... They score either a TD or FG 87% of redzone trips... It doesn't differentiate TD's vs FG's on this stat. So they failed to score at all on 13% of redzone trips... Subpar kicker? Turnovers in redzone?

Carman did well against Chase in the Ohio State Game.
But Chase also has sucked whenever it counted.

Your DTs versus our OGs will be an interesting battle. Both of our guards are seniors, do better against big powerful players than speed. Both guards are state wrestling champs and one is a 2 time national high school wrestling champion(Cervenka).

STATS
2019

FG% FG 1-19 20-29 30-39 40-49 50+ LNG XPM XPA PTS
60.0 12-20 0-0 4-5 3-6 3-7 2-2

It looks like the kicking game isn't their strongest unit for one. 60% and missed 4 when taken from inside the 30 yard line.

Taken from ESPN stats for their kicker (BT Potter).

It’s going to be a great matchup to watch. The interior of your line hasn’t seen guys like Lawrence and Shelvin all season, but your guys are great in their own right. Gonna be a heavy weight matchup
