Anybody else have one of these? Circa 1955/1961??. Sent to season ticket holders, signed by Coach Dietzel himself. In my collection from my grandmother who had seats for over 50 years.

I seen several, usually from the 1958 season, but don't own one myself. Nice piece.

I like the ties, too.
Carl Maddox became A.D. in later years, and there were more Strange than just that one guy. LOL No better way to express that.

I hope you have a mylar sleeve or something else to keep that from deteriorating.

Cool card.

Even then the stands cleared early.

Just kidding, relax.

Nice. I can't find any dating on it. Too bad.
I also have some pre-game and post-game letter updates from Dietzel he used to send to ticket holders.

Things were a little different back then.

I do.
I have some awesome game programs from the 40's through the 70's when my grandparents went to most of the games. They used to travel via train to Kentucky and Florida to see the Tigers play.

I would bet it is from 1959...

Bill Peterson was here from 55-59: Bill Peterson Wiki

Art Davis was here from 59-60: Art Davis Wiki

Note: Davis' time is buried in the write-up

Damn that picture makes me feel old. Tiger Stadium looked the same way in 1973.

Not all of them right? That would have to have been tens of thousands of cards.

Nice, love rare stuff, especially from 1959. I recently found a sideline media pass from the 1959 Sugar Bowl. Love this type of nostalgia.

Probably not, now that I think about it. Not sure what clout my grandparents had, but they were donors, how much, who knows.

Had box seats forever. Were very cool at first begin at field level, but you couldn't see much from about the 30 south end to the north end zone. You pretty much stood up the entire game.
