He wasn't. But LSU now has two mediocre incumbents and ZERO depth. Even if Z.Lee decides to play football for LSU he is a true frosh.

If the schollie was yanked, Miles is pretty much proven to be less than we even thought he was. DEPTH.

miles must be showing Lee that he won't be buried on the depth chart if he chooses to stay at LSU. I suspect that Lee has looked good in practices and LM is giving him whatever he asks for to get him to stay.

I don't know what is happening except that LSU is extremely thin at QB depth, and from what we know that depth isn't high quality. Couple of injuries or bad Qb play from starting a walkon or a true frosh who may not be here come Sept.

I don't get it as to why people are so upset that this happened. It happens in baseball EVERY year, and people have no problem with replacing valuable scholarships with upgrades. Yet when it happens in football people are too dumb to see its the same thing

You are the one who is too dumb to realize that baseball, a sport with 9 or 11 scholarships and only 35 roster spots, is the same as football.
It happens in baseball because the NCAA has forced it too happen. In baseball, you don't have to sit out a year either

Z Lee if he makes it to the squad will be the replacement.
