I would openly welcome Chip Kelly...but I think he's going to the Titans. He doesn't care for recruiting or sucking up to boosters like you have to in the college game. I could see him teaming up with his dream QB in Tenessee before going back to college.

While I don't think he's as great as some on this board like to think at least we'd be fun to watch. I'm in.

I think Chip Kelly could do well at LSU.

He would have the players he could not get in Oregon

I remember when LSU was good too. It was 4 years ago and we've gotten progressively worse since that season

We gave it to them pretty good but a majority of that arse whoopin was just the Honey Badger doing his thing. They played us a lot closer than just about any other team that year outside of Alabama

Why are they parting ways? Is Kelly a huge prick that no one wants to deal with? There is already a guy like that in Tuscaloosa, and even with the wins, I rather not deal with that here at LSU.

Honestly asking because I have no clue.

Yes. Who wants several national championships?

Right?

Its the NFL......coaches that last more than a few years are doing pretty good.

Secondly, its a RUMOR if you would have read the OP. Not official.

Lastly, they would be getting rid of him because they gave him full control, and he cut some key playmakers to "fit" his offense, and made some controversial trades (Foles for Bradford), and signed Murray, yet he sits at 4-6 so far this season, and if they want to make the playoffs, they'll have to win the division.

They could come out next week like gang busters and smoke whoever they play. Then the Chip Kelly talk would end.

Not happening. Les Miles will the football coach at LSU next year.

I love your conviction, but you're wrong.

And title of the thread needs to be changed FWIW. He's NOT leaving Philly as of now. No one knows if he will be or not.

Miami said the same thing about Saban...San Fran hated Harbaugh ....they are better college coaches because they can control everything.....Chip Kelly puts us in the playoffs next year with the talent we have....He'll make Brandon Harris a Heisman finalist

Yeah. We need a classic under-achiever who put a school on probation.

How would you have to deal with it? Are you are part of the football team?

I think Kelly was amazing at Oregon, just curious what was going down in Philly.
