Are we talking about Les or Chip?

I guess if you are talking about scoring fast, then it's Chip

But if you are talking about inept offense, then it's Les

I know what you are trying to get at, but Tempo works for well coached college teams. Chip would be awesome here, and IF he could retain a couple good recruiters, he would have LSU IMMEDIATELY competing for the CFP.

I honestly think Chip would be a great for LSU. If I could realistically pick any coach I'd want for LSU, it'd be either Dabo Sweeney or Chip Kelly.

Yeah. We need a classic under-achiever who put a school on probation.

Wtf are you talking about? You clearly know nothing about Chip Kelly.

His years at Oregon: record 46-7

10-3
12-1
12-2
12-1

Philadelphia Eagles

10-6 (lost in playoffs)
10-6
4-6 currently

Where is this "underachieving" you're talking about?

You need to figure out who Chip Kelly even is before you say things about him.

Chip is my dream come true!

Oh what a contrast that would be.

a lot of his losses at Oregon were against physical teams who could stop the run.

Alabama, Florida, Arkansas, even Ole Miss. They all have coaches who build their defensive lines and defenses around doing just that.

Gus came in and was a flash in the pan his first season, but they're gonna end up 6-10 in the SEC in his next two seasons. I'd say he's the most comparable coach to Chip currently in the SEC. Of course, I think Chip is a better coach than Gus. However, I'm not sure his overall offensive style would kill it here like many think. At least not long-term.

Plus, he admittedly doesn't like recruiting, and his staff left Oregon with recruiting violations after he left.

Chip isn't coming to the SEC. He's going to go to a place like USC or Texas, in a conference where defenses are (for the most part) nonexistent.

Jimbo is the #1 candidate for LSU.

If Joe Alleva had any kind of nutsack he would go to Philadelphia right now and lock this shite up.

Shitcan Les immediately following the game Friday. Place an interim tag on whoever. Get your shite straight for Chip. Hire immediately following the Eagles last game.

Next step would be for Joe to get a bigger trophy case.

Not sure how that would work...there are still 6 more weeks left in the NFL season.....can't wait that long.

Chip Kelly will be fired on December 7th, after their losing streak gets to 4 with a blowout loss to New England.

He'll be the Southern Cal coach soon after.

So basically you're saying Chip isn't coming to the SEC because we play defense here?

He went to the fricking NFC East to coach football, but he's not coming to the SEC. Disregard the fact that teams from other conferences and within this conference have skull fricked Alabama, and many other of these big bad defenses.

Reports are that Southern Cal has their guy and its not Chip Kelly. That's a very big IF.

Philly should actually beat Detroit on Thursday. If they dont, then you might be right.

Really? Then tell me why Saban struggles so much against spread teams?

He's about to fail in the NFL. Why would he go to another stop where he could potentially fail?

He would have better players at USC than he ever had at Oregon, while not having to go up against better teams in the SEC. He'd be in familiar territory.

Southern Cal and LSU would pay comparatively. He's familiar with the Pac 12. Southern Cal is definitely the best bet.

If he leaves the NFL, I think that would be a mistake. I think he can be a good NFL coach.

Just say that you don't prefer his type of offense or something. Anything but what you are currently saying.

And I assume you say SC because he was at Oregon. Nevermind the fact that he began in New Hampshire.

I don't think Chip will be fired from Philly. But on the off chance that he was fired. He would go to USCw over any school.

It's a pick in Vegas. The Eagles suck, and people know it.

I don't care what type of offense coaches use, as long as it works.

I'm not sure it would work long-term here. I think it has a much better shot in the Pac 12 (because it does).

He never coached anywhere outside of the northeast before Oregon. But yes, he is familiar with the Pac 12 because of his days at Oregon.

He has never coached or lived in the south.
