This was the worst game I ever witnessed in 35 years of going to LSU football games. I spent $1,750 for a ticket. But damn it, we just got beat by a little better team! We had one rotten game in a season where went 13-1 and finished #2 in the nation. It happens! Chill the frick out people! This board is ridiculous today!

let me complete your statement...
we were being beat by a better team when we surrendered.
it is the QUIT and stubborn stupidity that has everyone mad.

It wouldn't be this ridiculous if the beating hadn't been so bad. The gameplan and offensive play last night was ridiculous, so you get a ridiculous rant, today. DWI

Its not close to the worst I've seen them play. Maybe the most disappointing but those Curley teams or Dinardo's last season were much worse games

What we are pissed about is We didn't go down fighting till the end. We didn't try everything we could to win. It's hard to take and makes no sense. We deserve answers, but none will be coming.

Its not the loss, per se. Its how it happened. Its how it could have been possibly averted.
It has nothing to do with the players (I think JJ played the best he could), it has everything to do with the head coach.
He is supposed to put the kids in position to win. He didnt. Even a blind monkey could have saw JJ was off yesterday. Its not like the ball bounced one way or the other, Miles affirmatively chose not to play someone who could have sparked the offense, or even motivated JJ for his next series to play better.

blow it out your arse, Howard.
being unhappy because the #1 team (LSU) played like an unranked High school team (on offense, anyway) isn't being spoiled. LSU has tremendous talent and played accordingly all year. To shite the bed in the manner they did last night is unforgivable. The fans are reacting appropriately. Glad if you're content with what you saw. The rest of us are not.

The fans are not spoiled. I don't think people are simply mad because we lost 1 game, I think they are frustrated about how we lost that game. CLM simply had no game plan for the players last night. Even he looked lost and confused on the sidelines last night. Go back to the 13 games before last night and he showed passion in those games and last night he looked 1000 miles away.
In all honest, the QB situation was bad for both Lee and JJ. A lot of folks think he hung Lee out to dry, but last night he did no justice to JJ. It was obvious he just wasn't at his best last night and he left him in and the kid is taking a beating from the fans today. It would have been better for Lee, JJ, the team and the fans to have pulled JJ because I believe that Bama came last night to play and no matter what we did it would have been hard to stop them, then people wouldn't be bashing JJ so hard today and Lee would have gotten in the game.
Yes CLM coached us to a 13-0 record before this game, hats off to him, but his coaching skills last night just didn't represent this coaching skills at all. He gets paid big bucks to be in that position so much is expected.
As far as the fans go, maybe you should talked to some of those folks in the Big 12 about the revenue that their fanbase brings in for them. You might be suprised to find that the SEC fanbase is big money for these colleges. So I think they have a right to voice their frustration. Sabin and Miles make bank with the 2 schools and without the fanbase generating revenue they don't. Folks are going to rant about last night's loss but no doubt we will all be back out next September to cheer them on. But winning and losing = supply and demand = fan participation = money. I think a lot of fans are probably not real happy about they money they spent last night on the "game of the century" with a performance like last night.

Did I say I was content with what I saw last night? No I said its the worst game I have witnessed. We laid an egg. It happens and it sucks. SEC Champions...#2...I'll take it. Les Miles is the head coach and he didn't think that JL was an option given the speed of the Alabama defense. Having witnessed it myself up close and in person, I agree with him. Lee is a superior passer by far but if you get hit before you get a chance to drop back and release, then it won't work. Our offensive line was not doing its job all night. I don't like JJ much but Miles is in a better position to make that call than any of us. You don't like Miles...firing him and see what you get the next ten years at LSU.
