There’s been a lot of posts about Corso slacking this year. The dude is 84 and still a fixture on Gameday. It may be time soon but the dude is living most of our dreams at fricking 84. Cheers to Corso.

I love Corso and dread the day he is no longer on GameDay, but there are times its painful and sad to watch, the way he struggles to speak post stroke,

They should just let him do the guest picking part. Bring in him and a guest. It’s hard watching him get this old but you can tell everyone on the set loves him.

I like him. We’ll all be in his shoes soon enough.

I love the old dude. He has trouble keeping up with the pace of gameday but still fun.

It’s going to be so disappointing when he finally steps away

Leave Lee alone. He IS COLLEGE GAMEDAY. It’s bad enough Fowler’s gone and we got Davis. Lee is still the man

It’s heartbreaking to watch when he has trouble getting words out, but he’s the Game Day staple. Plus...he’s part of the Disney family. Dudes not going anywhere until he wants to.

He honestly looks really good for 84. Wouldn't have guessed he's that old.

I saw him in the Salt Lake City airport about four years ago. He was standing about 10 feet from me for about five minutes as we both waited for cars. He looked a lot older in person than on TV - an obvious point, I know - but I was surprised to find he was about 80 at the time. The guy was in remarkable shape for his age.

My friend kept arguing with me that it wasn’t him. His two points: Corso would be picked up by a limo, and why would Corso be in SLC? About that time Corso jogged across the street to a big black SUV, and my google search turned up the fact that Gameday was at Utah (or Utah State) that weekend. Again, Corso did not look 80 as he jogged across the street.

IDK, I still enjoy watching Corso. I say do it as long as he can.

Loved college gameday as a kid. Whatever little interest I still have in that show will die the day Lee steps down.

Yep. My brother and I were just talking about how much we missed Dizzy and PeeWee in the booth calling baseball. We loved their old stories about baseball but now all we hear about are stats and numbers. How fast a baseball comes coming off the bat? Give me a break. Who cares.

At this time, I'd also like to salute one of Corso's old peers, Beano Cook. I miss that guy. LINK
