OMG! are you telling me that in a span of 10 years there's been games that we lost and that fans complained about? Is this bizarro world??

Amazing how some people just completely miss the point, regardless of whether you agree or disagree with that point.

In fairness to the OP, he doesn't comment much on the actual article. Just that in 2005, people were calling for Miles's head... he then made two NC appearances and people are (somehow) saying the same thing.

Are you seriously trying to give Miles credit fro Russell and Flynn? Or mett for that matter...that guy was as polished a passer when he came in the door as when he left.

Jamarcus was a better QB in 2006 than he was in 2004.
Flynn was a better QB as a starter in 2007 than as a reserve in 2004.
Mettenberger was a better QB in 2013 than he was in 2012.

I don't see how any of this is arguable.

FSU hired him to take over for their legendary coach and his has since won a NC and made the playoff this year.

YOU could take one of the most talented rosters in the country and navigate the ACC undefeated. Hell, Jimbo won 7 games this year by one score when he should have dismissed his starting QB if he had any integrity whatsoever.

What would your opinion be, I wonder, if he had dismissed Winston and finished 5-7?

You guys are idiots.....any problem with the program period is Miles's fault. PERIOD

It is his fault he has not realized that he cannot develop a QB and that he needs a QB coach to do so.

I didn't say anything. I provided links to facts about players that have played and progressed at the position under his regime and three different offensive coordinators.

Take from that whatever you please, as I have no doubt you will.

Jimbo Fischer, Gary Crowton, Steve Kragthorpe, and Cam Cameron do not agree.

Comparing a kids numbers when he was not a starter to a year where he was is ridiculous.

Well, if Russell or Flynn didn't develop under Miles, and they were as good as they were in the years they started as they were in 2004, why the hell didn't Saban start them over Marcus Randall???

And Mett was a starter in both 2012 and 2013. Did he develop at all?

And Russell also started in 2005, I could provide those numbers to compare them to 2006, but I doubt it would be worth my time

Do you even know what your point is, because I sure as hell don't.. did Miles coach the QBs, or did his offensive coordinators and QB coaches?

No, shite. That's what happens when you go to the NFL. now we have Harris, Shea Patterson, Feleipe Franks, and Zadock Dinkelmann to look forward to.

That was a hell of coaching job by Les Miles after that game.

We won every game until the SECCG when we had way too many players injured from playing 10 straight weeks.
