Buyouts aren't anything new. Everyone in the industry (coaches and universities) understand how they work. Nobody is going to look unfavorably at LSU for requiring Chavis to pay a buyout (assuming it's a clear cut issue).

but you're fooling yourself if you think it won't appear petty within coaching circles.

Who gives a frick? Those same coaches know what chavis was trying to do and how he was intent on fricking LSU in many ways, including financially.

You really think someone wouldn't come coach at LSU because we upheld chief to his end of the contract terms?

If so, I feel sorry for you.

The guy tried to pull a fast one and it backfired. LOL and typical a group of fricking ahs couldn't figure out he was fricked contractually.

ATm doesn't owe shite, it's between us and chavis personally......and it is personal. We don't care about aTm, we've whipped yalls arse forever, and so did ULL when we got tired of you.

Picture means nothing.

So flying a private plane to College Station with Sumlin on New Years Day means nothing?

Standing on the tarmac saying “I’m excited to play with a great offense, and certainly looking forward to helping the defense get better. We get that situation done, and certainly you’re looking at a time, in my mind and in my vision, we will compete for championships" means nothing?

This is LSU creating a "hostile environment"?

Well with the exact same amount still owed to A&M from the early 90s for canceling the series,

Hey, the series was restarted. How is that working out for you?

On the LSU stiffing them for the 90s game, I'm assuming there was a contract for same, and the statute of limitations, or in Louisiana "prescription" period, would have expired as to any sort of breach.

A&M never pursued any damages. Maybe that's because they were too embarrassed they lost to ULL?
