I was at that bar in 2003 too. Owned by someone from Hammond/Ponchatoula-- pushed Maurepas Crabs and Manshac Catfish...

Ran into DJ L. (Not even going to try to spell his last name) at walk ons at Florida football game last year. Dude was not very talkative but I believe that's just who he is. He wasn't rude at all, just shy. Also, ran into will and clay harris tailgating last year. Both were cool dudes. I was taking astros with will. Nice guy.

I grew up with Aaron and was lucky enough to play ball with him at Catholic. He would gladly talk to you knowing your from BR Or a tiger fan. They are just as giddy about being in the league as you are about meeting them. Those guys just come from good people.

when I first started in the media, the bottom rungers basically have to cover the regular season mundane game kinda thing.

So I'd always get my work done then "off the record" go talk to the former Tigers who were passing through or on the team I covered.

Todd Walker, Warren Morris, Sirotka, Paul Byrd etc...

Never got a chance to talk to Albert Belle. All the players I did chat with about LSU all loved the school. Never a bad word about Skip or LSU. Now some football players...yikes they hated their coach(es)...Mainly Archer/Hallman/Dinardo couple Arnsbargers to be honest, I was a big shot by the time Miles got here.
