Last night at the Fair in Pensacola the entertainment was Charlie Daniels. He started the show with "hope your football team won today, mine lost". During a tribute to Johnny Cash he did "Folsom Prison Blues"...on the line "I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die" he added, "I think he was an LSU fan" which got a loud roar from the mainly Gator/Bama SRO crowd. We got a kick out of it too.

If we still had Saban LSU fans would still be bullet proof and this kind of thing could not be said!
Dang it, FIRE Miles!!!

Tiger Stadium Blues (with apologies to J Cash)
I see the fourth qtr a comin'
It's rollin' 'round the bend,
And I ain't seen no offense,
Since, I don't know when,
I'm stuck with da mad hatter,
And time keeps draggin' on,
offense can't get a-rollin',
On down to the weedwacker bowl.
When Les was just a baby,
His Mama told him, "Son,
Always be a good boy,
Don't ever run the shotgun,"
But he started JJ in Atlanta,
Over some nudie pics,
When I hear that whistle blowin',
I hang my head and cry.
I bet there's Bama folks eatin',
In a fancy dining car,
They're probably drinkin' coffee,
And smokin' big cigars,
But I know I had it comin',
I know I can't be free,
But Auburn's keep a-movin',
And that's what tortures me.
Well, if they freed me from the mad hatter,
If that offense was mine,
I bet our offense would be phatter,
Movin down the line,
Far from our own endzone,
QB Shep and Lee would play,
And I'd let that Touchdown whistle,
Blow my Blues away.
