If I'm 19 years old and know that I'll more than likely make 100 million plus, I don't give a shite if am or am not ready for the NBA.

Charles also says that Steph Curry "is just a great shooter" & thinks Budweiser is the strongest beer in the world.

Doesn't matter if he's ready. He's better off having the NBA prepare him while he's $100 million richer than by having LSU prepare him.

I'm not ready to win a $100MM lottery, but I think I'll take the money if I do and figure it out.

Exactly. The important fact is that someone will be willing to draft him and invest millions in him this summer.

Why can you people not get this? Whoever drafts him is not drafting 19 year old Ben Simmons. They are drafting 24-30 year old Ben Simmons that will be NBA ready. It is not that hard to comprehend. He is 6'10" that can run and handle the ball like a point guard and his biggest flaw is he can't shoot well. News flash shooting is the last thing that basketball players develop.

If you were in an unpaid intern position and someone offered you a job making millions of dollars that you might not be ready or qualified for but they think you can develop into a very good person at that position would you not take it?

I don't think charles is incorrect in saying the player Ben currently is, isn't ready for the NBA, but that doesn't mean he should return to college.

he's ready to sign a $100 million deal that Charles will never sniff.
Charles is so jealous. Charles has to go to work with guys who won it all and be reminded Charles never won a natty and never won the NBA.

Aubie never reached the final four. ever.
