I see your reasoning, but i don't think he will be 4th in the rotation. That spot should go to rasco, with maclin vying for pt as well.

Complete bust? If he made the team he wasn't a complete bust. These guys that don't play much sweat and stink just like the 5 Stars. Maybe they aren't the best but I call them a form of cannon fodder for the best. You wouldn't want Big Sam lining up in practice against a 160lb cheerleader. I say give our guys a break. They read the rant too.

Pretty sorry IMHO to be so critical of a player that has stuck it out after never being 100% back following his injury.

So he hasn't been the best LSU player from Texas ever. I, for one, appreciate his efforts.

Question still remains...if he's the fifth end, he certainly would have a harder time learning a new position at DT and cracking the top four. I'm not so sure that Logan-Johnson-Downs-Ferguson isn't every bit as good, or better than Montgomery-Mingo-Edwards-Rasco.
