And I think they are all no doubt 1st rounders next year. I was actually thinking about making that thread--will next year's DLine have 3 1st rounders? I do think that if we win it all this year, there's a chance Brockers and Sam could go.

The only one junior to leave will probably be mo. There is way to many quality WR, DT, AND DE's for our guys to come out.

next year as in '12? or '13? if they continue on their current levels of production, I could see Sam and Brockers in the 1st. I wouldn't quite say no doubt, but close. Mingo, not so sure about just yet.

without any credentials to back up my opinion... I dont think so, another year to develop at a position like DL would be very advantageous to him, getting bigger, stronger, and another year of experience would be to his benefit, plus... I bet he is looking forward to another year with this historical D!!!

After next football season, so '13.

One, why wouldn't they? If anything they will be better. But scouts will be enamored with their size and athletic ability regardless. Which is why I think it's possible they leave after this year. They will be drafted very high on potential alone.

I'll say it, though. No doubt unless injured. They are all 3 very special.

This may sound strange, but Bama could actually help us out with this for the upcoming draft. Alabama will have a lot of guys on the defensive side of the ball go in the first few rounds, plus Trent Richardson at RB. There are also alot of stud players coming out this year who will eat up first round picks. It's kind of like with recruiting; even if a team has 80 top prospects listing them as their favorite, they can only sign 25. There are only 64 slots in the first two rounds and there are, IMHO, too many good Jr/Sr players for our draft eligible underclassmen to go that high.

Claiborne is gone. Aside from that, the rest stay. Hopefully, Les will have opportunities to play alot of his underclassmen next year to get them up to speed, because LSU players will dominate the 2013 NFL draft.

For real. I think Brockers, Montgomery, Mingo, and Randle are all 1st rounders. Eric Reid is a good possibility. As is Tyrann, but his stock has fallen off some. Hell, with his size and tools, Mett could even have a huge year and turn into a 1st rounder. Logan, Faulk, Edwards could all go in the 1st 3 rounds themselves. Ware and/or Ford could too.

Almost all of those guys will be JRs in '13(which is insane btw) and won't all probably leave early, but still. A lot will.

After Mo, Reid is the best player on the field. You forgot Simon as well, he'll be a 1st-rounder.

A general question to the board on this topic:

When is the last time a descent red-shirt sophmore has left early for the draft? I am sure it happens a lot when players get in trouble with the team or academics, but I just can't recall one. Any help is appreciated.

Then you are an idiot. Only underclassman we lose is Mo.

Knowshon I believe. it's pretty rare. Vick was one, and I think McGahee was another.

yep.

But we reload like a motherfricker. Just like Bama. We will always have the talent on D as long as Miles, Chavis, Cooper, and Wilson are here.

Randle would have to finish the season on fire to have a shot at moving into the 1st, but its not like he's looking at any really fierce pass defenses the rest of the way. Odds are he will be back.

I think Brockers will be rated higher than Montgomery at this point in time.

Reid has been pretty average all season up until the Bama game. He doesn't look like an NFL-caliber player right now to me, let alone a first rounder.

I completely disagree. Completely. He's fricking fantastic. And I thought this last year.

Now, no. I'm saying he may be after next season. And that other guy was right, I did forget Simon. Good Lord.

My eyes this year have told me he actually looked better last year. I had huge expectations for Reid this year and I've been disappointed (up until Bama of course). He has missed A LOT of tackles and hasn't really made any big plays (excluding Bama again). Maybe he'll turn the corner now, but before this past week, I felt Reid was clearly our worst DB of the 5.
