I was thinking about the Outback bowl when i posted that. I swear I get the Cap one,Outback & Gator mixed up all the time.

we will probably be somewhere between 8-4 and maybe 10-2 (been a few years since we had some meltdown games, I think we're due)so I guess its definitely possible

This is not directed just at you Ignignot but some times I hope that the majority of the posters on TD (the Rant especially) are really, really young - 25 and under - because I'm 38 and remember back in the early to mid 90's when me and my family would hope and pray to the almighty that LSU could somehow win 3-4 of their last 3-4 games (usually Ole Miss, Tulane, Miss St and Bama) just to have a chance at the f**king Indy Bowl in S-Port.

Now it seems like a 10 win season and playing in one of the top 10 overall bowl games against a top 15 team during prime time on national television is something to be ashamed of and the beggining of the end for the program. Oh not to mention another nail in the coffin of our worthless head coach who can't seem to win more than 75-80% of his games in such a weak arse conference.

I don't know about the rest of the fan base but as for my family (and I'm talking my entire extended family of 35-40 die hard fans) we are enjoying the HELL out of this extraordinarily rare run of excellence which just happens to be the GREATEST IN THE HISTORY OF LSU FOOTBALL!!!!

State went this year also.

I'll say this, the only way I could excited about the Chicken Bowl is if we played Florida State. We had a shot to play them but they couldn't beat UF and Clemson lost to South Carolina which sucked. That second to last weekend of 2012 (dare I say pentultimate?) was the anti-2007 final weekend; every team we needed to win in order to move up lost. Shitty times turned into a shitty bowl game.
